Fencing FAQ’s

Here we try and answer some general questions that you may have around Fencing materials, Timeframes, Costs and generally how we go about supplying you with a top quality Fence. If it’s quicker, why not give us a call!

How much does a pool fence cost?

Pool Fencing in Adelaide varies based on the materials you choose and the area that needs to be covered. There are two styles of pool fencing we specialise in; Tubular fencing and Glass fencing. The average costs depend on the scope, size and materials of the project.  Approximately speaking, if it’s a basic tubular pool fence, we work off of roughly $220.00 per metre for us to design and install. Bearing in mind some designs may attract a higher fee due the different spires and decorative finishes you may require.  For Frameless glass fences, please contact us to discuss accurate pricing.

Where do your fences come from?

We custom make our tubular or slat fencing here at our Lonsdale Factory in Adelaide’s southern suburbs. We manufacture using Australian Steel or Aluminium. The pool fencing Glass is Australian or imported, and we give you the choice when we’re discussing the project with you.

Do you provide ‘Supply Only’ for your Pool Fencing?

Yes, if you have the measurements that you require and the design you like, we will happily provide you with some fencing that you can install yourself. We work with a number of landscapers and pool companies in providing their pool fencing and steel fencing for their respective projects.

How long does it take to supply me with a fence?

Most Fencing projects can be normally completed within 3 to 4 weeks from the moment you approve the quote to the installation of your new fence. If there is an impending property sale that requires pool fencing prior to handover, then we can work quicker if required.

What styles of fence can I choose from?

We custom design and manufacture our fencing so the choices are endless. If you have a particular fence design in mind or a photo of something you would like, then please let us know. The standard styles of fencing include Tubular, slat, glass fencing. *Note: We do not offer Colorbond or real timber / timber picket fences. We find the aluminium picket a much better, no maintenance option.

What is the average height of a tubular pool fence?

The Standard height for a pool fence in Adelaide is 1200mm.

What pool fencing options are there?

We specialise in Tubular steel fencing, aluminium fencing, glass fencing and custom designed fencing. We only provide Colorbond or good neighbour fencing if its in conjunction with a tubular or steel fencing project. We generally find that specialist Colorbond fence suppliers are more competitive as it is not our core fencing business.

Do you custom make your fences?

We custom make all our steel fences and aluminium slat fences. We’ve been doing it for over 30 years and because you’re buying direct from the us, the manufacturer, you’re generally saving on price too.

What are the regulations in South Australia around pool fences?

Internal fences need to be 1200m high, Boundary Fences in South Australia need to be 1800mm high and Pool Gates HAVE to be self closing from any position.
